Automotive Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Repair or replace powertrain components including transmissions, engines, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct vehicle alignments and wheel balancing to ensure proper handling and tire longevity.
• Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and troubleshooting to support modern vehicle safety features.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to execute repairs accurately on GM vehicles or other makes/models.
• Collaborate with team members to complete auto estimating processes for repairs while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Experience

• Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems diagnostics and repairs.
• Familiarity with automotive repair procedures involving schematics, vehicle maintenance protocols, and service documentation.
• Experience working with auto estimating software is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices.
• Service technician experience involving customer interactions is highly valued for delivering excellent service. Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
