Role Overview

As
Head – AI Infrastructure (Advisory Consultant)
, you'll play a strategic leadership role in shaping our AI infrastructure platform from day zero. Working closely with the founding team, you will guide critical architectural decisions across our global GPU cloud, influence product roadmap, and bring technical depth to our scaling journey—from bare-metal GPU orchestration to cloud-native operations.

, ideal for seasoned infrastructure architects or engineering leaders who have built scalable platforms for AI, HPC, or cloud-native workloads—and are excited to mentor and advise a high-caliber startup team building in stealth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Architecture & Roadmap
  : Define the architectural vision for our multi-region, GPU-first cloud platform with focus on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Infrastructure Design Review
  : Advise engineering teams on Kubernetes, virtualization, GPU scheduling, and observability systems.
• Vendor & Data Center Strategy
  : Guide decisions around colocation, bare-metal procurement, and global GPU supply partnerships.
• Security & Multi-Tenancy
  : Define isolation strategies and best practices for running secure AI workloads in shared environments.
• Product-Market Fit
  : Align infra capabilities with customer needs across AI labs, startups, and enterprise use cases.
• Team Mentorship
  : Coach infrastructure engineers and shape hiring plans as we scale.
• Tech Due Diligence
  : Support investor and partner discussions with deep infra insights when needed.

Ideal Background

Must-Have Experience:

• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or technical leadership roles
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, GPU clusters (NVIDIA A100, H100, and
  B200
  ), and large-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on familiarity with virtualization (KVM, KubeVirt), storage, and network fabric for AI workloads
• Proven track record in scaling infra for cloud-native, HPC, or AI platforms
• Strategic thinker with the ability to distill technical complexity into roadmap decisions

Bonus Experience:

• Former CTO/VP/Director-level experience in AI infra startups or hyperscale cloud teams
• Familiarity with commercial GPU infrastructure (CoreWeave, Lambda Labs, Vultr, Scaleway)
• Experience with DevEx platforms, CLI tooling, and self-serve infra portals
• Exposure to cloud economics, billing models, and quota enforcement systems
• Strong network across AI infra, data center, and silicon ecosystems
