Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous and data-driven professional? Our expanding logistics operation in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse stock. This vital role ensures that our inventory levels are precise, which directly impacts order fulfillment efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize loss and improve accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of inventory management principles. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of all goods. Adherence to strict safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. This position is integral to our supply chain operations, providing critical data for operational decisions. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory management best practices.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS and inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage.
