We are seeking a skilled and reliable Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong safety consciousness, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility, from receiving to dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload palletized goods from trucks and storage areas.
- Accurately pick and place products according to order specifications and warehouse layout.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately documenting material movements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Follow all instructions regarding proper lifting techniques and safe material handling.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed and trained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to adhering to all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
