We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to minimize stock errors. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to resolve issues and contribute to overall operational efficiency. - Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize stock obsolescence.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to track inventory flow.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
- This role involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
Proficiency in WMS software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
Commitment to safety and proper handling of materials. Be prepared for physically demanding tasks including lifting.
