Founded in 1916 by Joseph Meister, the company has grown into a model of award-winning, sustainable cheesemaking—operating under a legacy of innovation and responsibility. Your Role & Impact The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day health and safety functions at both Meister Cheese Company and Muscoda Protein Products. This includes (but is not limited to) implementing the organization's safety program, working with teams to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, leading the employee safety council, and monitoring the facility and processes for adherence to OSHA and other local regulations and guidelines. What Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who:
Is energized by working in a family-oriented culture and supports our values-driven mission Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field preferred 2+ years safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong organizational skills (required) Excellent verbal and written communication (required) Experience in utilization of Microsoft Office (required)
