POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Les Richeloises, a warm and welcoming private residence for seniors, is looking for a server to join its team. Working in a residence is more than a job; it's a life experience. This is an opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of the service, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of seniors! Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Change light bulbs in the common areas
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a similar position.
- Training in the field, an asset
