About

To support product development, the remote Senior Design Engineer will split their time between UI/UX design and front-end implementation, owning the design experience and technical realization of products that enhance content creation for educators and students. Key responsibilities
Engage with users to identify pain points and propose effective design solutions Translate design intent into high-quality, accessible front-end code while maintaining a design system and component library Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on problems and define feasible design solutions
Required qualifications
6+ years of experience in product/UX design and front-end engineering, with expertise in Figma and production front-end code (e.g., React, TypeScript) Proven track record of delivering pixel-accurate, accessible code from design concepts Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems as code, including accessibility standards Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies and experience with user research to inform design decisions Familiarity with AI tools to enhance design processes is a plus
