Review incoming applications and ensure completeness of all required documents and information Analyze bank statements, credit files, and supporting documentation to assess credit risk Manage pending applications by following up on missing items and helping move deals through the process Support credit decisions by preparing files, summarizing key details, and applying company guidelines Communicate approvals and outline next steps, including any required stipulations Partner with internal teams and sales representatives to provide updates and address questions Maintain organized, accurate deal files throughout the underwriting process Assist with additional operational tasks as needed, including contract preparation, UCC filings, and administrative support Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably within the automotive or floorplan financing industry. Proficiency in reading and interpreting credit reports (e.g., Experian) and financial statements. Strong understanding of UCC filings, PMSIs, and other secured lending practices. Knowledge of the automotive industry and dealership operations is a plus. Experience with DecisionLogic or similar bank verification tools preferred. Key Skills & Traits:
