Are you a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU! HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility! This order is available for both local and travel.

Local Rate:

Pay Rate: $57 / hour

Travel Rate:

Traveler Hrly Rate $32.00
Traveler Lodging $644.00
Travel M&I $385.00
Total Travel Stipend $1,029.00
Total Travel Pkg $2,181.00
Blended Rate $60.58

RN Details

  • Full Time Schedules 
  • Some weekends may be required
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
  • Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
  • Day

RN Duties

  • Med Pass
  • Health Assessments
  • Sick Calls
  • Provides general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
  • May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
  • Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.

RN Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in TX. The license MUST be in good standing
  • 1 year of experience
