Construction Project Engineer/Coordinator

Weston provides facility repair, renovation, and related construction services for our customers at thousands of their locations nationwide. We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer/Coordinator to work closely with project managers, task managers, contractors, and specialists every day, and will get to see your efforts contribute to completing projects all over the country. If you've worked in dispatch, logistics, scheduling, or have other experience expediting projects, then this is an exceptional career development opportunity for you. No two days will ever be completely alike. Location: Washington D.C. or Baltimore area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage all documentation, shared folders, and tracking updates.
  • Create Purchase Order requisition forms for project managers.
  • Review Conflict of interest documents for all national projects.
  • Actively track numerous projects from beginning to end using a procurement tracker.
  • Collection of executed documents from subcontractor such as: Certificate of insurance, Release of liens, Purchase Order contract, Terms and Condition forms, DBA/SCA forms.
  • Process subcontractor invoices.
  • Manage and download Weston reports to the appropriate client/project folders.
  • Manage critical databases that update financials, vendors and project closeout information.
  • Management of invoices and expediting expense reporting process.
  • Track and actively communicate updates to monthly invoices, payment and expense reporting.
  • Meet Weston EHS program certifications and educational training requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional organization skills for project data/coordination.
  • Detail oriented, fast pace, self-motivated and can multi-task,
  • Work proactively and independently.
  • Imperative to consistently follow up and follow through with vendors and team on projects (communication essential).
  • Initiative-taking (proactive steps) to investigate and problem solve for resolution when problems arise.
  • Must be able to adjust, adapt and overcome, as priorities and improvements in processes are a constant change.
  • Self-motivated and efficiently multi-task,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience in creating Purchase Order Requisitions
  • Professional manner to interact with Sub-contractors and Client.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $81,549 - $107,791 - $133,824
