For nearly 20 years, we have built beautiful, high-quality homes with a focus on thoughtful design, strong systems, transparent communication, and an outstanding client experience. We are a collaborative, proactive, "want to help" team that believes in hard work, accountability, honesty, customer focus, and having fun while doing meaningful work.
Vertical Builders is looking for an experienced Sales Agent to represent our brand, guide buyers through the new home sales process, and help clients find the right home, floor plan, community, and structural options for their lifestyle. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented new home sales professional who knows how to listen deeply, follow up consistently, close confidently, and create a smooth experience from first contact through contract and closing.
Key Responsibilities
Sell new construction homes while meeting or exceeding sales goals and maintaining target profit margins
Track, follow up with, and nurture leads through the full sales process
Walk clients through communities, floor plans, structural options, available homes, and the building process
Write accurate, detailed contracts and addenda and submit them for approval
Maintain strong knowledge of Vertical Builders' floor plans, structural options, design capabilities, and sales protocols
Assist with creating, reviewing, and auditing listings for accuracy
Monitor closing timelines and communicate updates, delays, or early closing opportunities to clients
Research market trends, sales comps, competitor pricing, design options, and upgrade offerings
Provide feedback to management on pricing, floor plans, design changes, spec homes, model homes, and client needs
Partner with marketing on community needs, sales center planning, listings, and promotional objectives
Respond promptly to phone calls and client communication
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of new home sales experience required
Strong closing ability and proven success in new construction sales
Clear, professional communication skills with strong listening and client discovery abilities
Highly proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a collaborative sales environment
Coachable, adaptable, and willing to continuously learn and improve
Experience or training in new home sales techniques preferred.
HubSpot CRM and Mark Systems experience preferred but not required
Must be available to work weekends (one weekend off per month)
Pay and Benefits
Full-time, W-2 position.
Base salary $20,000 per year, plus commission
Typical total earnings $215,000-230,000/year, depending on sales performance
