This is a varied and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work closely with a partner on larger assignments while also managing a portfolio of varied clients.
The successful candidate will also play an important role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued success of the practice.
This position is ideally suited to a recently qualified accountant with at least three years' experience in a professional practice and who has completed the ACCA, ACA or CPA qualification.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, building strong client relationships and providing an excellent level of service.
Plan, manage and complete audit and audit-exempt assignments.
Prepare and review financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships.
Review periodic VAT returns, management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
Assist with Corporation Tax and Income Tax assignments.
Prepare and file Companies Registration Office submissions.
Design and implement audit plans and ensure assignments are completed efficiently and to a high technical standard.
Work closely with the partner on client engagements and business advisory matters.
Supervise, mentor and support the development of junior team members.
The Ideal Candidate Qualified ACCA, ACA or CPA accountant.
Minimum of three years' experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of audit, financial reporting and taxation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and delegate effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using accounting software including Bright, Sage and Thesaurus( or similar accounting software). xyswxtq
