Description

Phlebotomist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is full time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts.

Primary responsibility is to accurately identify patients, collect high quality blood specimens on inpatients, and deliver samples to the laboratory in a timely fashion.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Continuing Education Units; 6 units every 2 years.
• Coursework/Training Phlebotomy courses from a California State approved School of Phlebotomy (see State Phlebotomy regulations).
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License Or
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Laboratory, medical office, or hospital experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
