Description

Radiology Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PerDiem and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts.

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo has received Magnet designation in 2012, 2017, 2021 and are in the process of earning our fourth designation in 2025! Under general supervision, operates conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographics of designated body portions, providing assessment and care for infants, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to physician specifications. In doing so, positions patients and adjusts x-ray equipment to correct setting for each examination. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by mixing and preparing contrast media, assisting in sterile procedures, and the like.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 90 days of hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon request: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Participation in continuing education program.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
