As a Senior Linux Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to contribute technical leadership and DevSecOps principles in support of ArgonST programs within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business.

Position Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure, integrating DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate security controls, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, security and conformance to Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements Simplify, automate and optimize patch management and compliance of Linux operating systems and applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems, with a focus on security and compliance Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency, security, and DevSecOps integration Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are no longer required 5+ years of experience with Operating systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux 5+ years of experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python 3+ years of experience with cloud computing and/or virtualization technologies (Splunk, VMware) Experience with configuration management Experience with networks and network communication protocol Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active certifications in Cloud, INFOSEC, etc. Experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership Experience with automation tools (i.e. Ansible) Experience with Windows support and administration in an Active Directory environment Experience implementing and managing Containerized systems Experience with security and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., ACAS/Nessus, STIG's, SCC) Experience maintaining enterprise-wide storage and network infrastructure Drug Free Workplace:

Summary pay range: $124,100 - $167,900
