Are you a Urology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Michigan might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation; 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week; No call coverage; August 3, 2026 start preferred; 1-year or longer commitment sought
Job Setting:
Outpatient Clinic and OR; Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite; Facility lodging available if applicable during scheduled shifts; Trauma Level 3; 25 beds in department; 20 patient encounters per shift
Types of Cases:
General Urology (Adult - Required; Pediatric - Preferred); Laparoscopic surgeries; Ureteroscopy; Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy; TRUS biopsies; Fertility work-up; Nephrectomy (Preferred); Prostatectomy (Preferred); Robotic surgery (Preferred); Incontinence procedures (Preferred)
Credentialing:
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days; MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA required prior to start; Background check and drug screen required; Medical Staff Services/CVO will conduct separate credentialing and privileging review
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Certified or Board Eligible required; American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery
Certifications:
ACLS required
Licensure:
Active Michigan State Medical License; Michigan Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Registration; Michigan DEA Registration, will consider IMLC
Experience Requirements
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested within the past 12 months, OR successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months Fellowship: 2 years
