Are you looking for a change from the challenges of retail pharmacy or just looking for more security in your pharmacy career? Rockpoint pharmacy is a closed door, long term care pharmacy providing pharmacy services to nursing facilities across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts looking and we are searching to hire a Part-Time Pharmacist.
The job functions of the staff pharmacist include, but aren’t limited to:
Verification of new and reordered medication orders.
Screening for drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate medication therapy.
Communicate with management, co-workers, prescribers, nurses, and administration at the nursing facilities.
Enter and verify physician orders and prescriptions.
Assist in maintaining the inventory of the pharmacy, including a perpetual inventory of schedule II medications.
Knowledge of federal and state laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
The staff pharmacist must possess these key skills and attributes:
Punctual, Patient Safety, Quality Assurance, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Customer Service, Workflow Management, Sound Judgement, Works Independent, Time Management, Leadership
Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist or Pharm.D
Active New Hampshire pharmacy license in good standing with the board of pharmacy
Pharmacy Hours:
* Monday-Friday: 7AM-7:30PM
* Saturday and Sunday: 9AM-4PM
* On-Call (rotation)
Job Type: Part-time
