The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in DeWitt that are seeking skilled Purchasing Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.

- Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales to forecast material needs.

Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier negotiation
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and purchasing software
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is a plus
