About Our Client Our client is a nationally recognized, employee-owned construction management and general contracting firm with over 130 years of history. With a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region and headquarters locally in Sterling, VA, they offer the stability of a large contractor with the close-knit feel of a regional team. This opportunity is part of their self-perform division, which focuses on directly executing key scopes of work in the field. This group plays a critical role in ensuring quality, safety, and delivery across major projects, while giving employees strong exposure to hands-on construction leadership. Job Description Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards. Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes. Collaborate with project managers to develop site-specific safety plans. Investigate and report on any safety incidents, recommending corrective actions as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on construction sites. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organization. The Successful Applicant A successful Safety Supervisor/Safety Supervisor should have:
A strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards. Proven ability to implement and manage safety programs in the construction industry. Excellent communication and leadership skills for training and guiding teams. Problem-solving skills to address safety challenges effectively. Attention to detail for thorough site inspections and accurate reporting. What's on Offer Competitive salary of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience. Annual bonus based on company revenue, discretionary. $1,000 yearly allowance for cellphone expenses. Up to 15% of W-2 earnings contributed to 401(k), employee stock, and profit-sharing plans. Generous paid holidays and vacation time.
