Cognite is seeking a strategic, experienced Vertical Marketing Manager to define our voice across the world's most critical asset-intensive industries, including energy, manufacturing, and life sciences. You will be the primary architect of our industry narratives, translating the power of Cognite's leading Industrial AI and Data Platform into compelling stories for the Energy, Chemicals, and Life Sciences sectors. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales, our vertical Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and marketing functions, ensuring our vertical messaging is consistent, authoritative, and optimized for lead generation.

• Vertical Storytelling and Content Development: Develop and govern a comprehensive library of vertical-specific content, including white papers, case studies, executive briefs, and blog posts that resonate with industry decision-makers.
• Support key industry events: Help drive and deliver the booth narrative and content to maximize our presence at events. Attend in-person demos and support lead-generation activities.
• Help Develop and Champion Marketing Campaigns: Partner closely with the Campaign Team to integrate vertical messaging into global demand generation programs, ensuring all assets drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth.
• Industry Governance: Act as the "editor-in-chief" for your assigned verticals, ensuring all external communications align with Cognite's brand standards and specific industry terminology/pain points.
• Sales Enablement: Create "battle cards," pitch decks, and industry playbooks that empower our sales teams to speak the language of verticals such as Energy, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences leaders.
• Subject Matter Alignment: Work with Industry Solutions and Product teams to translate complex technical features into clear, value-based business outcomes.

• Experience: 5+ years in B2B product marketing or content strategy, specifically within the Industrial SaaS or AI space.
• Vertical Knowledge: Proven experience marketing to at least one of our core verticals (Energy, Chemicals, or Life Sciences) is highly preferred.
• Storyteller: You have a gift for turning market pain points into visionary narratives that address "C-suite" challenges.
• Growth-Minded: You understand the marketing funnel and know how to use content to move a prospect from "curious" to "qualified lead."
• Collaborator: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you must balance multiple stakeholders and tight campaign deadlines.

1. Industrial Domain Translation: Ability to synthesize highly complex, technical Industrial AI and data platform capabilities into clear, high-impact business value propositions that map directly to C-suite priorities in Energy, Chemicals, or Life Sciences.
2. Strategic Narrative Architecture: Advanced B2B storytelling skills with a proven track record of authoring compelling, authoritative content (white papers, playbooks, executive briefs) that shifts market perceptions and drives top-of-funnel engagement.
3. Cross-Functional Orchestration: Mastery at operating as a strategic bridge across disparate, global teams (Sales, vertical Centers of Excellence, and core Marketing Campaigns), aligning competing inputs under tight operational deadlines.
4. Funnel Optimization & Demand Focus: Strong comprehension of the full B2B marketing funnel and demand generation mechanics, ensuring all content assets are deliberately structured to accelerate prospect movement from initial awareness to qualified pipeline.
5. Brand & Asset Governance: High attention to detail acting as the "editor-in-chief," ensuring all vertical content strictly adheres to global brand standards and accurate industry-specific nomenclature.
