Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals and objectives.
Execute company sales strategies in coordination with Sales Director and sales team.
Constant efforts to build brand awareness and enhance brand image in respective market through proactive outreach and visibility where prospects/customers are, be it their facilities or at key regional events.
Assist with identifying new market opportunities and developing customer acquisition strategies.
Assist with completing annual/ongoing market and competitor analysis in respective sales region.
Assist with developing, implementing, and tracking progress of customer development strategies.
Evaluate and review sales performance to goals monthly and quarterly with Director and within regional sales team.
Feedback and contributions to refinement of sales/company processes and workflows.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as required.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, new products, and market conditions and relay to management, procurement, marketing, etc.
Develop and execute regional sales plans.
Forecasting based on historic sales data.
Maintain and monitor company CRM system with regional team to capture activity and pertinent data on all existing and prospective customers.
Help influence marketing strategies, catered to respective sales region, to include but not limited to: customer events, contractor days, campaigns, content and special promotion activities.
Travel by car or air as necessary to meet with customers and attend customer/industry events.
Ensure customer satisfaction and positive brand perception through constant cultivation of quality relationships, excellent customer service, and responsiveness/ready availability.
Provide insight to management team on pricing strategies and promotions to bolster sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Evaluate competition on an ongoing basis, and identify products, strategies, etc., that USI should be aware of or consider adopting.
Cultivate relationships with key account opportunities at a high level and participate in calls to potential national accounts.
Coordinate with Sales Director to provide input on travel and sales policies, rebates/promo opportunities, marketing needs, and customer accommodations.
Formulation of short- and long-term individual sales planning in line with annual sales team plan.
Research and recommend industry training, trade organization participation, regional association memberships that provide sales and technological tools to directly enhance sales staff expertise.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, B2B, or business development preferred.
Experience in the stone, hardscapes, or construction industries preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work around deadlines, and in an often high pace environment.
Must be willing and able to travel as needed. This is not a stay at home role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Office, SAP Business One, and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Must have an extensive knowledge of Sales and CRM processes.
Must possess a positive and energetic attitude and the ability to self motivate. Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to represent the organization in a professional manner. Must have good relationship building and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines. Must possess the ability to build and communicate long-term vision and strategy.
Valid Drivers License & US Resident required.
