We’re seeking a Demand Planner & Analyst to cover Aerospace & Industries (A&I) in LA. A&I resides within Advanced Mobility under Diversified Industry and includes the MOLYKOTE®, Vespel®, and MultibaseTM brands, serving aerospace & defense, transportation, consumer electronics, semiconductors, and industrial equipment.
The role is split 60% demand analyst and 40% LA demand planner. Responsibilities include maintaining global master data in the OMP demand planning tool, managing statistical forecast models, generating sales input forecast files, and supporting LA demand planning.
Successful candidates will develop and maintain a 24‑month horizon demand plan, align with market segment, product management, and regional sales leaders, track progress, communicate approved plans, and continually improve forecast accuracy. They will analyze demand trends, challenge assumptions, and drive corrective action to reduce bias.
Responsibilities
Maintain master data and forecast model in OMP, generate and monitor sales forecast input files, and upload progress. Collaborate with demand planners in other regions to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare for and support the Global Demand Review and pre‑meetings, including justifying changes to the consensus demand plan and identifying risks and opportunities.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to collect, analyze, and validate forecast input; develop a rolling 24‑month forecast.
Align and secure buy‑in on plans, numbers, risks, opportunities, and actions with sales, marketing, and product teams on a continuing basis.
Analyze actual performance and demand metrics to identify causes of forecast error and bias; drive corrective action to improve accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience with planning systems (e.g., APO, OMP, SAP). Preference for hands‑on OMP roll‑out or super‑user experience and ability to lead root‑cause investigations.
Proven hands‑on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP/IBP processes.
Excellent data analysis and problem‑solving skills, with ability to address complex market demands.
Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Broad flexibility and aptitude to work in a global team with cross‑functions.
Fluent English communication skills.
High willingness to learn new competencies and systems.
