- Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery Munster Region | Part-Time (4 Days) | Permanent An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Support Specialist to join a high-performing surgical team supporting Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery procedures across the Munster region.
This is a clinically focused role supporting surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital staff with orthopaedic implant systems and surgical power tools across key hospital accounts in Cork, Limerick, Waterford, and Tralee.
The position would suit someone with theatre-based experience who enjoys working closely with clinicians in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide in-theatre clinical support during Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery procedures Support Hip & Knee Arthroplasty cases including primary and revision procedures Deliver product training and education to surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff Assist with implant systems, instrumentation, and surgical power tools Ensure seamless customer support including stock checks, case preparation, and product availability Build strong relationships with Orthopaedic consultants and key hospital stakeholders Support product evaluations and adoption of new technologies Attend conferences, workshops, and educational events as required Maintain strong clinical and technical product knowledge Requirements Experience working within Orthopaedics and/or Neurosurgery Previous theatre-based clinical support experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to support surgeons and theatre staff in acute clinical settings Full clean driver's licence Willingness to travel regularly across Munster Eligible to work in Ireland What's on Offer xyswxtq Bonus scheme Company car or car allowance Pension Health insurance Lunch allowance Further education support Long-term career progression Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies in a highly respected clinical environment Ideal backgrounds may include: Clinical Support Specialist Theatre Nurse Orthopaedic Sales Support Surgical Sales Support ODP / Scrub Nurse Medical Device Clinical Specialist Adecco Ireland is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
