Assistant Store Director

As an Assistant Store Director, you will play a critical leadership role in supporting overall store operations, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You'll partner closely with the Store Director while leading teams, developing talent, and stepping in to oversee the entire store when needed. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to the growth of a company that values great service and lasting customer relationships.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Soft skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and develop teams; customer-focused mindset; strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Competencies: Operational leadership, retail management, performance management, decision-making, problem-solving, and workforce planning

Knowledge: Understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory control, food safety standards, and company policies and procedures

Abilities: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; supervise large teams; make sound decisions; handle challenging situations and emergencies effectively

Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred

Travel requirements: Minimal travel; may require flexibility to work across different store locations as needed

Other requirements: Must be at least 18 years old; prior experience as a Department Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred; ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and peak business periods

Pay Transparency:

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation Pay or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays, bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility). [If applicable:] Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus.
