Job Description Job Summary: Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity while collaborating with a healthcare team to deliver quality care. Responsibilities:
Administer basic nursing care and monitor patient conditions according to established protocols. Document patient responses and medication administration accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and patient status. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to prevent infections and hazards. Comply with all licensing, certification, and facility policies to uphold standards of care. Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments to ensure best practices. Qualifications:
Hold a valid, active license in good standing as an LPN or LVN in Alaska. Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program. Possess current CPR (BLS) certification. Have the ability to pass and maintain clinical competencies for the role. New graduates are welcome; prior experience in long-term care or hospital setting preferred. Demonstrate effective communication and cultural sensitivity skills. Benefits & Growth:
