Join our talented Transportation team to support highway project delivery throughout the Florida Panhandle. You will work alongside an established team, expand our presence, and maintain close relationships with clients from project development through completion. Responsibilities
Maintain client relationships throughout development and after project completion. Mentor staff to foster a positive team environment. Continuously update knowledge of regulatory programs, funding requirements, design standards and procedures through ongoing education and professional associations. Represent SEH with agencies at project and public meetings. Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects. Present proposals to clients and participate in project interviews. Conduct final inspections of construction projects. Provide expert‑level field inspections for conformance with engineering plans and specifications. Essential Qualifications
Located near Tallahassee, Panama City, Destin, Pensacola, Fort Myers or surrounding areas. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida. Ability to travel as needed; occasional overnight travel may be required. Experience in highway design and construction of FDOT projects. Design experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, or Open Roads Designer. Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of five to six years of design experience. Active participation in professional organizations, conferences and technical publications. Previous experience with a Civil Engineering consulting firm performing design or project management. Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $95,000 to $115,000 based on skill set and experience. Full benefits include flexible holidays, paid family leave, and a comprehensive benefits package. Employment Restrictions
