POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Alphée is a warm and welcoming residence that is pleased to welcome both independent and semi-independent residents. Located in a prime area of Deux-Montagnes.
We are currently seeking a talented and caring Licensed Practical Nurse.
Schedule: Part-time evening and night shifts, occasional
Salary: $24.50 to $26.55


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
  • Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
  • PDSB training
  • Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
  • Member of the OIIAQ
