1. Oversees the day to day operations of the maintenance department and maintenance staff. 2. Maintaining equipment to ensure production goals are met. 3. Manage inventory and parts in CMMS system. 4. Will assist Maintenance Manager in providing leadership and direction to maintenance staff. 5. Communication with other department to schedule equipment maintenance in an effort to minimize down time 6. Provide emergency repairs of equipment during operation. 7. Will perform regular/scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of production equipment and facilities. 8. Responsible for diagnosing problem, will replace or repair parts, and test to ensure equipment is running correctly. 9. Perform mechanical skills including, mechanical, electrical pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. 10. Assist with installment of equipment 11. Read and interpret equipment manuals in order to complete required maintenance. 12. Use a variety of hand tools, electric meters, and operate a forklift. 13. Communicate and cooperate with all other departments and coworkers. 14. Comply with safety regulations and policies. 15. Carry company cell phone as required for on-call maintenance. 16. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. 17. Performs other duties as assigned.
