What You'll Do
Architecting the Future: Design and deliver core platform capabilities that power FloQast applications. Own the "big picture" by ensuring distributed systems are scalable, resilient, and elegant.
Technical Strategy & Excellence: Lead high‑level design discussions, resolve complex trade‑offs, and establish rigorous engineering best practices to raise the floor and ceiling for technical standards.
Cross‑Functional Partnership: Bridge what's possible with what’s needed, working closely with Product and Design to translate ambiguous business goals into executable technical roadmaps.
Multiplier of Talent: Mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of deep technical curiosity and high‑performance execution.
What You'll Bring
The Veteran’s Perspective: 12+ years of shipping complex, enterprise‑grade software and navigating the lifecycle of a maturing platform.
Technical Mastery: Expert in modern backend stacks—Go, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS—and proficiency in APIs, platform‑first design, and secure, compliant SaaS architectures.
Outcome‑Driven Mindset: Strong product intuition; build to drive business impact and solve real customer pain points.
Navigational Skill: Comfortable in grey areas; turn a napkin‑sketch idea into a production‑ready reality through influence and technical clarity.
Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $188,000 – $282,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary. FloQast offers a competitive Total Rewards package including medical, dental, vision, family‑forming benefits, life & disability insurance, and unlimited vacation. FloQast reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
