At McDonald's, the General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and success of the restaurant. This role ensures efficient daily operations, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and drives the achievement of financial and operational goals. The General Manager is accountable for maintaining a profitable operation while consistently upholding McDonald's standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC). In addition, they are responsible for adhering to and enforcing all Acosta policies and procedures. The General Manager develops, coaches, and leads a high-performing team committed to operational excellence and company values.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations & Brand Standards
- Ensure full compliance with all McDonald's policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized restaurant at all times
- Deliver excellence in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC)
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
2. Customer Service & Hospitality
- Delivers, models, and enforces outstanding customer service in accordance with McDonald's standards and procedures

- Resolve customer concerns promptly using established service recovery methods
- Ensure a positive experience for every customer visit

- Oversees and ensures strict adherence to company policies, including cash management, loss prevention, and safety protocols

- Ensures full compliance with food safety, quality, operational, safety, security, and cash-handling standards
- Holds team accountable for consistent product quality, preparation, and adherence to standards

- Drives operational efficiency through effective inventory management, waste reduction, and product rotation
- Optimizes labor by monitoring staffing levels and adjusting to business demands
- Drives sales growth and maximizes profitability through strong operational execution
- Manages labor, food cost, and controllable expenses to achieve financial targets
- Manage scheduling to meet business needs while controlling labor costs

9. Qualifications and Physical Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving operational and financial goals
- Previous General Manager restaurant experience required
- Committed to following and enforcing established systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintains a positive, growth-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds
