Position Overview
Engineering Technician – Airborne Antenna Design Department. Responsible for testing, analyzing, maintaining, compiling, and formatting measured data in an Anechoic Chamber to support product design verification and validation. One‑st shift, 100% on‑site in McKinney, TX. Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, assemblers, and technicians on multiple projects. Perform engineering technician functions including layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic or electro‑mechanical systems. Analyze data to determine root‑cause of failures. Plan and execute rework of production assemblies. Coordinate and execute tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges and maintain/standardize range infrastructure to meet program requirements. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of prior work experience with an AA/AS degree or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training. Experience with test and evaluation measurement equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.). Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred RF fundamentals knowledge, antenna measurement patterns, decibels (dB) and dBm values. Active DoD Secret security clearance with investigation within the last five years. U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Benefits
