LAWRENCE & SCHILLER Lawrence & Schiller is a team of unstoppable, creative problem solvers that helps clients see business results through marketing. We use insight-driven campaign strategies to connect with consumers and deliver proven ROI for clients.
Marketing Data Analyst We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to unify campaign performance across research, consumer insights, media, and digital. This role will stretch across multiple departments, connecting marketing activity to real business outcomes. This person will answer the most important question for our clients: Did this campaign work and why?
You will integrate media performance, consumer insights, behavioral data and client business data to evaluate total campaign impact. You will help validate strategic insights, identify optimization opportunities and build predictive frameworks that improve future performance. This is a strategic, tech-forward role for someone who is equally comfortable in data, dashboards, and executive-level storytelling.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Impact & Performance Integration
Connect media metrics, digital analytics, consumer research, and client business data into a unified campaign performance narrative.
Evaluate whether pre-campaign insights were validated by post-campaign performance.
Analyze campaign lift beyond platform-reported metrics (ex: revenue impact, lead quality, market share influence).
Develop dashboard and reporting frameworks to answer: “Did this campaign work?” in a clear, business-focused way.
Champion data integrity, governance, and measurement best practices to create a trusted source of truth across teams, platforms and clients.
Collaborate with Research, Insights, Media, and Digital teams to ensure consistent measurement strategies.
Align on KPIs that reflect business objectives.
Identify gaps in tracking, tagging or measurement methodology.
Evaluate and recommend analytics and attribution tools.
Ensure data is being captured, structured, and visualized effectively.
Oversee data hygiene, tagging strategy, and integration between platforms.
Improve reporting automation and dashboard efficiency.
Executive-Level Storytelling
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Present findings to internal teams and clients.
Help shape future strategy based on performance learnings.
Elevate reporting from descriptive (“what happened”) to diagnostic (“why”) and predictive (“what’s next”).
Advanced & Predictive Analytics
Develop models to forecast performance based on historical data.
Conduct cohort analysis, segmentation analysis, and trend forecasting.
Identify drivers of performance across channels.
Support budget allocation modeling and scenario planning.
Qualifications
3+ years in marketing analytics, data science, or advanced performance strategy.
Experience working across media, digital, and research data sets.
Strong knowledge of attribution modeling (multi-touch, MMM, lift studies).
Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, client-friendly way.
Experience with BI tools.
Familiarity with CRM data, conversion tracking, and marketing automation platforms.
Proficiency in Excel and/or SQL; experience with Python or R a plus.
Strategic mindset — not just reporting, but interpretation.
Location
In office; Sioux Falls, SD or Minneapolis, MN
