Job Description Benko Digital is on the search for an experienced Backend Developer . You'll play a key role in implementing cutting‑edge APIs and web services using the Loopback framework. This is your chance to work on projects that are pushing the boundaries of technology and entertainment! Responsibilities Responding to business needs and product development requests. Designing, implementing, and maintaining the functionalities of different microservices managed by the team. Implementing business processes (routes and controllers, data model, etc.) based on the Loopback 4 framework (TypeScript). Contributing to deployment in enterprise environments. Qualifications Minimum English proficiency of B2 (French will be considered a plus). Solid experience in TypeScript (mandatory); deep knowledge of the TypeScript language, including its advanced features like generics, interfaces, decorators, etc. Experience with backend frameworks: NestJS, Express.js, or Fastify, with demonstrated ability to develop robust and scalable applications. Database knowledge: experience in designing relational and/or non‑relational database schemas and effectively using SQL queries or ORMs like TypeORM or Sequelize. RESTful API: deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and ability to develop well‑structured APIs. Authentication and authorization management: familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth, JWT, and their implementation in backend applications. Unit testing and continuous integration: experience in writing unit tests and integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and deployment reliability. Additional Technical Skills (Optional) Frameworks: ExpressJS, Loopback DevOps: Gitlab-CI, Kubernetes, Docker/Compose Frontend: Angular v10+, React, HTML/CSS, Template engines (EJS, Handlebars, Jade) Benefits Attractive Compensation: A competitive salary that values your skills and experience.
