Salary Range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in managing customer accounts, supporting sales initiatives, and driving operational excellence while serving as a trusted partner to both internal teams and customers.
Position Summary The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accurate and timely execution of the sales orderbook for a range of customers, including high-volume and specialized accounts. This position also owns the placement of forecasts, item set‑ups, and other day‑to‑day and seasonal operational duties to support overall business success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with the sales team on assigned accounts and execute duties assigned by the Sales Support Manager.
Manage orders and assigned accounts, including manual order entry for SOs and BSOs, monitor EDI flow, and release orders.
Provide insightful and strategic orderbook reporting.
Release orders in NuOrder, communicate with Sales Reps on any issues.
Investigate complex fulfillment issues and communicate resolutions to Sales, warehouse, or customers.
Proactively communicate with sales and cross‑functional partners on ongoing customer and planning initiatives.
Process order confirmations and generate proforma invoices.
Support creation of customer program sheets and ensure accurate pricing in ERP through price groups.
Assist the Sales Support Manager with item set‑ups in retailer portals.
Enter and process RMAs, credit rebills, and memos.
Manage order information flow between ERP and customer portals, identify and resolve errors.
Monitor forecast management reports and resolve price group variances.
Act as a subject‑matter expert and participate in department process improvement, including technical enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills
3‑4 years’ experience in Customer, Sales, or Dealer Service, preferably in a consumer product, retail, or dealer‑based environment.
Team player; able to lead when needed.
Drives excitement and consensus among cross‑functional groups.
Proven record of setting high expectations and achieving commitments.

Strong product knowledge.
Basic understanding of Exxel Outdoors and customer P&L’s is desirable.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Excel; understanding of MS NAV / MS Business Central is a plus.
Work Environment A collaborative open‑space workspace located on the second floor of the 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Broomfield, Colorado. Team members share a common desk area, with quiet telephone booths, a large patio, and a break room for employee use.
Physical Demands The employee must stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary range for this position is $24–$26 per hour, based on education and prior experience.
