Job Title - Engineering Technician Job Duration - 02 Years (Possible Extension) Job Location - Coal Valley, IL, US, 61240
Job Purpose Perform instrumented testing using established procedures to verify machine and component performance against product specifications.
Key Responsibilities • Set up tests, including fixtures, part modifications, required instrumentation, and overall configuration • Execute tests using computer-controlled systems as well as mechanical control systems • Collect and record data using both digital and analog measurement systems • Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to communicate test progress, issues, and results • Perform test teardown, cleanup, and equipment reset following completion
Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings • Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with power tools and metalworking equipment • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Basic mechanical systems • Ability to work independently with general guidance from management and team members • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
