Responsibilities
Set up laptops, phones, printers, and other peripherals.
Provide end‑user support for day‑to‑day systems and process issues (tier 1 or tier 2), providing personable service that is consistent with various firm policies and procedures.
Test and support videoconferencing in the conference center.
Account administration under the supervision of the Support Manager and Systems Administrator.
Maintain equipment and resolve hardware issues, escalating as needed.
Update and maintain inventory of equipment.
Manage consumables for copiers and printers.
Support full Windows desktop environment with iOS for mobile devices.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues with desktops, laptops, printers, other equipment, and software.
Assist with technical upgrading and maintaining entire desktop systems.
Support testing and deployment of new applications and systems.
Train and guide staff in hardware and software usage.
Other special projects / trial support as directed.
Available for after‑hours support (paid as overtime) on a shared‑response basis with other members of the support desk team. There is no fixed on‑call schedule.
Qualifications
Education and Experience : Minimum three years’ experience within relevant IT fields; understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT support.
Knowledge and Skills : Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Acrobat, M365, Windows 10/11, and iOS.
Clear Communication and Attention to Detail : You express yourself clearly and concisely, always highlighting the most important information. You show great accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills. You proactively communicate the status of your work and share updates with colleagues when necessary. You ensure that your work is mistake free.
Ownership, Initiative, and Teamwork : You are self‑motivated, reliable, and punctual. You take ownership of your projects and follow through on their completion. You proactively anticipate, communicate, and work to independently resolve obstacles you encounter in your work. You possess a strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work well within a team and are able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with employees and professionals.
Organization and Project Management : You are comfortable balancing tasks of varying levels of urgency and complexity and work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
Flexibility : You are flexible and available after hours to work overtime as needed. You are comfortable in an environment where your responsibilities may vary from day to day. Confidentiality : You demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive material and are familiar with concepts of information classification, DLP, and the like. You must be able to adhere to Firm policies regarding the protection of confidential data and demonstrate sensitivity to (and good judgment in connection with) confidential attorney, personnel, and Firm matters.

In addition, the successful candidate will be based in the Washington, D.C. area or willing to relocate and will be available to work 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with availability for some travel as needed (e.g., for trial support).
Compensation The expected base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 - $110,000 and is dependent on experience.
