# Financial Data AnalystUSARemoteID: 9397---## Job DescriptionSymetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Division Accounting Team as a **Financial Data Analyst!****About the role**This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, working with large datasets, and driving automation in a growing, evolving environment. Check out our Symetra Benefits Overview**Compensation**Salary Range: $79,900 - $133,200 base plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.**Who You Are:*** High School Diploma is required, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics preferred (or equivalent experience)* Proven ability to analyze and work with large, complex datasets* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines* Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills* Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment* Strong technical skills, including:+ Advanced Excel, T-SQL (required)+ Python, Power BI, and Snowflake (preferred)+ Experience with accounting systems such as Lawson (a plus)**We empower inclusion**
