A leading provider of analytical instrumentation is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive business growth across Ireland and Northern Ireland. This exciting job offers the opportunity to join a highly respected international organisation and take responsibility for developing new business, growing existing accounts and increasing market share throughout Ireland.
Working closely with internal application specialists and technical teams, the Technical Sales Specialist will develop customer-focused solutions, conduct demonstrations and deliver compelling commercial and technical presentations. This job offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the continued growth of the business within Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
* Grow sales of scientific instrumentation and associated services.
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order completion.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
* Present technical and commercial solutions to prospective clients.
* Work closely with application and support teams to deliver customer solutions.
* Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business plans.
* Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth in Ireland.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a technical sales job or scientific instrumentation sales role.
* Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
* Ability to communicate technical information to a wide range of customers.
* Proven track record of winning new business and developing accounts.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across Ireland.
