Posting Date 06/08/2026 479 E Main St, Patchogue, New York, 11772-3147, United States of America DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment Set up and maintain dialysis equipment Record vital signs and patient data Educate patients on treatment and kidney health Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment Physically able to work long shifts on your feet Willing to float between local clinics if needed Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

This position will be open for a minimum of three days. The Wage Range for the role is $23.50 - $36.50/hour. Patient Care Technician ICHD Resident: $24.00 - $25.25/hour.If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour For location-specific minimum wage details, see the following link: DaVita.jobs/WageRates
