We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide essential in-home support that helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and support a safe and positive home environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, respectful, and committed to delivering high-quality care with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate. Support mobility and transfers while following proper safety techniques. Provide companionship and emotional support through respectful and engaging interaction. Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining an orderly living space. Assist with medication reminders, as permitted by care guidelines and local requirements. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities when needed. Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or home environment to the appropriate supervisor. Follow individualized care plans and agency policies to ensure consistent, person-centered support.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred. Ability to provide respectful, patient, and dependable support to individuals with varying needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks that may include standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with mobility. Valid certification or training relevant to home health aide or personal care assistance may be required, depending on local regulations and employer standards. Reliable transportation may be required for certain assignments.
