The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Whitehall seeking experienced Engineering Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Implement and maintain best practices for engineering design, documentation, and quality control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience managing projects with external vendors or partners.
