Job Duties: Advent Global Solutions, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst (SAP Modules) to analyze business requirements to coordinate the design and development of customized SAP reporting. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts to perform the following duties:
Analyze business requirements, reports, and other data processing problems to coordinate the design, development, and implementation of SAP in the following: FI/CO, sales and distribution (SD), material management (MM), production planning (PP), quality management (QM), business warehouse (BW) modules to meet global and local legal and business requirements.
Coordinating and preparing blue print, design, functional or technical specification review.
Coordinate and configure modules based on the business requirements, guiding ABAP programs, gap analysis.
Conduct unit testing, system testing, documentation, implementation, client interaction, capturing user requirements.
Synchronize with other functional or business members to maintain and apply coherent, optimized, integrated, and standardized processes.
Prepare and review documentation required according to methodology for SAP FI/CO or SD or MM or SAP technical aspects.
Prepare formal specification documentation as required, as well as oversee and support the entire implementation effort during all project stages, ensuring that in areas of assigned responsibility milestones and related sign-offs are achieved on a timely basis and in accord with current project plan.
Monitor progress of SAP module specific tasks against project plan and actively promotes the global template approach within the organization.
Support clients in the selection, implementation, and support of one or more SAP modules.
The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel. As assigned, perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration or any related field of study, plus at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).
In lieu of the above-stated primary requirements, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration or any related field of study, plus five (5) years of post‑degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Employer will accept a foreign degree.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable experience, knowledge, and proficiency with the following:
Two or more of the following SAP ECC modules: SAP ABAP; FI/CO; GL; AP; AR; SD; OTC; MM; SRM; PP; QM; HANA; BW/BI; BO; BODS.
No travel; no telecommuting.
Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S., which may require relocation at the end of each project.
