Opportunity We are currently seeking a Tax Vice President for our Personal Tax Advisory Group in one of our Northeastern, Ohio offices (Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster).
Responsibilities
Provide top‑level management of client relationships and tax engagements for high‑net‑worth individuals and business owners.
Serve as a personal tax specialist and advisor, handling individual, fiduciary, and gift tax compliance and planning.
Lead and mentor the Personal Tax Advisory Group’s management team, engaging in their career development.
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and client‑expected service.
Handle larger and more complex client assignments within the Individual Tax specialty area.
Leverage international tax planning and compliance experience for individuals, when applicable.
Qualifications
Have CPA licensure.
Have a minimum of 15 years of related experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
Demonstrate leadership skills to manage and mentor teams.
Ensure timely client service and respond to client expectations.
Possess a working knowledge of flow‑through entity taxation rules.
Be experienced in tax research.
Be experienced in business development activities.
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Have working knowledge of tax preparation and tax planning software, Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and a basic knowledge of operating systems.
Experience in International Tax Planning and Compliance for individuals is preferred.
Benefits & Compensation Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $200,000 and $250,000, with discretionary year‑end bonuses to supplement your compensation package.
