Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Pediatric hospital - Required: V60, HFOV 3100A/B, Nitric Oxide - Ventilator equipment requirement: Servo-U -2 years PICU or CTPICU experience in a pediatric hospital -Required Skills: Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide (INo), Racemic epinephrine, Oxygen therapy, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, High frequency oscillator, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Chest Physiotherapy, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nebulizer, Cold, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Oscillating Ventilator, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Work Settings, Pediatric Critical Care, Additional Skills, Pediatric hospital

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pediatric cardiac ICU - Preferred: Trilogy EV300, Optiflow, NAVA (on Servo-U), IPV, Subambient/Nitrogen, Hamilton G5

Unit/Facility Details: This role is for the CVPICU/Cardiac unit at the facility

Special Requests: - Patient population includes neonatal to adult patients with congenital or acquired heart disease, heart failure, heart transplants, lung transplants, VAD/ECMO, trach-vent dependency, and pre-op and post-op care.

Shift & Scheduling: - Can be placed on-call for overtime shifts - Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: - General Floors, ED, NICU, PICU, Pulmonary

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
