Franchise Tax Board is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Specialist I to join our team as a Power Platform Developer. This position plays a key role in modernizing business processes, improving efficiency, and delivering innovative technology solutions built on Microsoft's Power Platform. As an integral member of the application development team, the incumbent will design, develop, and support low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with business partners. The IT Specialist I will participate in requirements gathering, solution design, application development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building Canvas Apps, automating workflows, writing Power Fx formulas, and integrating data across various platforms. Working Conditions This position is eligible for limited remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines andoperational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of four days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
Interviews will be conducted in person.
