Job Description
The Salesforce Developer plays a critical role in designing, engineering, and deploying solutions across Comcast’s multi‑cloud Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional business units to deliver robust, scalable, and secure capabilities that support enterprise‑level operations. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy
custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
Translate complex business requirements into
scalable technical specifications
andhigh‑qualityimplementations.
Implement andmaintainintegrations using
REST/SOAP APIs
, MuleSoft, andthird‑partyplatforms.
Applyenterprise‑leveldevelopment practices including
source control
,
code reviews
,
unit testing
, and
CI/CD pipelines
(Copado preferred).
Configure Salesforce using
Flows
, validation rules, advanced security models, and Lightning App Builder.
Support data modeling, data quality, and reporting needs across business units.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues; ensuretimelyfollow‑throughand documentation.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Stay current with Salesforce releases,AI‑drivencapabilities, platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Comcast’s Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with architectural standards andlong‑termscalability.
Required Qualifications
Associate’sorBachelor’s degree in
Software Engineering
,
Computer Science
, or equivalent experience.
5+ years
ofhands‑onSalesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
Strongproficiencyin:
Apex

LWC

Visualforce

SOQL/SOSL
HTML

CSS

JavaScript
REST/SOAP web services
Salesforce Experience Cloud
(Required)
and
Sales Cloud

Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft and external systems.
