Make a Difference in Resident Care Lawrence Street Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team on a PRN basis for weekend coverage. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care to our residents. As a CMA, you will play a key role in supporting nursing staff, administering medications, and assisting residents with daily care needs. Why Join Us?

Administer and document medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policy Perform treatments for minor skin conditions as directed Maintain medication carts and ensure proper storage and security Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility Respond to call lights and conduct routine rounds Support dining services and assist residents as needed Take and record vital signs, intake/output, height, and weight Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times Qualifications (Required for Consideration)
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification (state-approved program required) Knowledge of medication administration practices and limitations of the CMA role Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60-70 lbs as needed Basic computer skills (documentation, email, etc.) Must meet all health, background screening, and regulatory requirements What We're Looking For

CMA scope of practice limitations apply (no injections, IVs, or certain PRN medications per regulations) Must be flexible with scheduling based on facility needs Must maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times
