We are seeking a skilled BI Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable BI solutions using Tableau and AWS data services to support our data‑driven decision‑making processes. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and performance for analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence applications in an Agile environment.
Technical Skills
Strong skills in Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Ability to connect Tableau to various data sources and build real‑time, data‑driven insights.
Experience in designing user‑friendly and visually appealing dashboards.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
Ability to write complex SQL queries, including subqueries, joins, window functions, and CTEs.
Experience with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon RDS.
Performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
Proficiency in creating calculated fields, parameters, and leveraging Tableau's advanced visualization features.
Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Supply Chain Domain Knowledge
Strong grasp of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Ability to define and track supply chain‑specific KPIs and metrics.
Additional Skills
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
Strong problem‑solving and data interpretation abilities.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to stakeholders.
Requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews to define personas, use cases, metrics, KPIs, and data sources.
Data profiling and assessment of data quality, completeness, and lineage for identified source systems.
Transformation logic creation (ETL/ELT) required to support dashboard metrics.
Development of interactive dashboards in Tableau with role‑based views and filters.
Implementation of visualizations for agreed metrics and KPIs.
Basic performance tuning and optimization for dashboard load times.
Qualifications
Minimum four years of Tableau dashboard development experience.
Minimum five years of experience with complex data environments, including advanced SQL and data modeling.
Track record of leading projects and training others.
Proficiency in transforming complex data into actionable business insights and troubleshooting analytics pipelines.
Consistently adopt best practices to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
Managerial Skills
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to understand and comprehend complex environments and systems.
Inquisitive by nature and keen to figure out how things work.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 per annum.
