Responsibilities- Prepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitals
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Draw blood, take specimens, and prepare for lab testing
- Perform in-office point-of-care testing
- Document patient information utilizing electronic medical records
- Assists in scheduling patient appointments
- Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality
- Perform additional administrative duties and projects as needed
- License(s): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking
- Medical office experience preferred
- EMR knowledge preferred
- Experience completing prior authorizations preferred
- Part-time, 2 days per week
- Must be flexible with hours
- Logansport, IN
